Getting around in Madrid

It’s been almost 4 months since I wake up in the mornings and realize I am away from the city that I call home, my beloved Madrid. Actually, I wrote this blog post between Amsterdam, London and Berlin, which is fantastic, don’t get me wrong, but I can’t avoid feeling melancholic about Madrid. Even though not originally from Madrid, it’s definitely the city that saw me grow up and become the woman that I am today. Celebrating the First Day of Summer

Today, June 20th, 2016, marks the first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere! Most inhabitants of planet earth are celebrating the fact that one can soak up to 17 hours’ worth of sunlight today, more than any other day in the year. While some may be a tad melancholy given the days will slowly begin to shorten after this, we recommend celebrating the long days while they’re here!

Are you a cat person? Cat people are generally known for being more distinctive than dog people, and are also pretty much the coolest people, ever.

Cats have also been the dominant species to be found on the internet for some time now. The occasional panda or turtle photos are cute, but nothing comes close to the feline. Cats are fluffy, independent and 100% viral, which leads us to the million dollar question: When it comes to hotel rooms, why are dogs having all the fun?
